Golden Richards new single "Zach Attack" is a big guitar rock tribute to Gil Golden's cousin Zach who passed away in September at only 24 years old.

The track is an energetic hooky harmonic power pop song reminiscent of the Posies. It is a joyful tribute to remember the positive spirit that Zach brought to the world even though we greatly miss his presence.

"Zach had a postiive impact on all his family and friends of which there were many. This is a way to remember him and know that his spirit is still around us. I think anyone who lost someone close to them too soon will relate to the song. - Gil Golden

The band was stoked to have two supremely talented special guests contribute to the track. Darby Todd, drummer for the Martin Barre Band, the legendary former Jethro Tull guitarist, and Lee Pomeroy, bassist for Jeff Lynne's ELO.

Remember how Bill Murray woke up to I Got You Babe every day in Groundhog Day? If that song would have been Made Of Moods, he at the very least experienced three and a half perfect minutes each day. It’s one of those songs that I enjoy each and every second of, with it’s jangly guitars and hushed vocals that almost have a Beach Boys vibe, especially in the verse. Truly, it’s a song for the ages.
